Shaping time

Film is one of the great time arts. Filmmakers create in time and determine our time of perception through the editing. They model time, as Andrei Tarkovsky so beautifully described it. Some have achieved mastery in this and invite us to travel through time, which can also sharpen our perception of time. We have compiled a selection of outstanding examples here and invite you to the cinematic sculpture park of time and wish you stimulating perception.
